How To Join

As you can see in the section Joining Scouting, the Boy Scouts of America have programs for different ages and levels of experience. The cost to join is $15 per year for each youth member or adult leader. Boys’ Life magazine, an excellent monthly program resource for Scouts, is available to members for $12.00 per year.

Applications to join Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Varsity Scouts, Venturers and Explorers are available at the Alamo Area Council Service Center, 2226 NW Military Highway, San Antonio, Texas 78213 or by calling (210) 341-8611 ext. 100.  For further information on how to contact a Scout unit in your area please complete the form below or call Jim Matthews at 341-8611 ext. 121.
