Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Why are there no links to other Web Sites, Units ...?
  2. Why is the Galaxy District not on the District Map (on the Council info page)?
  3. Where do I find information about the Take a Stand Against Drugs program?
  4. Can Webelos Dens camp overnight?

1 - Presently there are no links to any other Boy Scout site from this site due to BSA Policy. At this time we have upgraded and standardized the Alamo Council website to adhere to the BSA guidelines as an accredited web site. This allows the council to have a link off the BSA council link locator and to link to other Boy Scout sites.
2 - The Galaxy District encompasses all of the Alamo Area Council. Because of this, it is hard to add it to the map as an area. The Galaxy District serves the Exploring Program.
3 - Check out the Forms Page to get to the Take a Stand Against Drugs handout.  Also present is the Teacher's & Leader's Guide to the same program.
