O. H. Ivie Reservoir

O.H. Ivie Reservoir is a 19,200 acre lake, formed by the Colorado and Concho Rivers southeast of Ballinger. To get there from San Antonio, take IH 10 west to Junction. From Junction take U.S. 83 north to Eden. North of Eden, take FM 1929 to O.H. Ivie Reservoir.

There are three public recreation and camping areas which provide picnic facilities, concrete boat ramps, boating, fishing, and lake swimming. Kennedy Park, located near the dam, has the most modern facilities, with flush toilets and concessions. Padgett Park and Concho Park have pit toilets.
