Lavon Lake 

Lavon Lake is a 21,400 acre reservoir on the East Fork of the Trinity River near Wylie, Texas. To get there from San Antonio, take IH 35 and IH 35E north to Dallas. From Dallas take State Highway 78 north through Wylie and on to the lake headquarters area.

There are four separate camping areas with various facilities operated by the Corps of Engineers at Lavon Lake: Clear Lake Park, Collin Park, East Fork Park, and Lavonia Park.

Recreational activities include hiking, swimming, fishing and boating.
