Canyon Lake

Canyon Lake is a 8,240 acre reservoir on the Guadalupe River near New Braunfels, Texas. To get there from San Antonio, take U.S. 281 north to State Highway 46. Proceed east on State Highway 46 to FM 2722, turn north to Stattler.

There are six separate camping areas with various facilities operated by the Corps of Engineers at Canyon Lake: North Park, Jacobs Creek Park, Canyon Park, Potters Creek Park, Cranes Mills Park, and Comal Park.

Recreational activities include swimming, fishing, and boating.
