Lake Georgetown

Lake Georgetown is a 1,310 acre reservoir on the San Gabriel River near Georgetown, Texas. To get there from San Antonio, take IH 35 northeast to Georgetown, approximately twenty-five miles north of Austin. From Georgetown take FM 2338 northwest to the lake headquarters area.

There are two separate camping areas with various facilities operated by the Corps of Engineers at Lake Georgetown: Jim Hogg Park and Cedar Breaks Park.

Recreational activities include swimming and fishing.
