Joe Pool Lake

Joe Pool Lake is a 7,470 acre reservoir on Mountain Creek near Cedar Hill, Texas. To get there from San Antonio, take IH 35 and IH 35E north toward Dallas, exit onto FM 1382 (Beltline Rd) and proceed west to Joe Pool Lake.

The camping area at Joe Pool Lake is operated by the Trinity River Authority and is called Loyd Park.

Recreational activities include hiking, swimming, and boating.
