Belton Lake

Belton Lake is a 12,300 acre reservoir on the Leon River near Belton, Texas. To get there from San Antonio, take IH 35 north toward Waco and exit at Belton. From Belton take State Highway 317 north to FM 2271 and proceed west to the headquarters area.

There are twelve separate camping areas with various facilities operated by the Corps of Engineers at Belton Lake: Miller Spring Park, Live Oak Ridge Park, Temple's Lake Park, Rogers Park, Cedar Ridge Park, McGregor Park, Leona Park, Iron Bridge Park, Winkler Park, White Flint Park, Owl Creek Park, and Westcliff Park.

Recreational activities include swimming, fishing and boating.
