FEES
Activity Use Fee ¾ This is a variable, per person fee charged at some parks operating under special or interim conditions.
Entrance and User Fees ¾ Most parks require a daily entrance fee. A facility use fee is also charged depending on what facilities are used. Refer to the fee schedule code and the fee ranges in the fee schedule on page B-3.
Overnight Activity Use Fee ¾ Day-use hours are generally from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Some parks charge a fee that allows visitors to stay in the park past closing for approved activities such as fishing, stargazing, etc.
Parking Fees (Excess Vehicle Parking Fees) ¾ Such fees may be charged on a daily basis if visitors exceed the two vehicle limit (a combination of motor vehicles and trailers) For campsites, cabins and shelters. The fee varies by park for each vehicle over the two vehicle limit. (Boat trailers and small utility trailers are not counted.) Excess vehicles must be parked in areas designated by the park manager.
Special Rates/Discounts ¾ Weekly, monthly and seasonal discounts on camping are offered by a number of parks. In addition, some parks offer premium (preferred) campsites.

Each park has its own rates within the above guidelines. Call the specific park for rates. Also ask if there is a special group rate at the park for Scouts. Some parks will okay a group rate especially in primitive sites.
