To get there from San Antonio, take IH 35 north to Fort Worth then take U.S. 81/287 north to Decatur. In Decatur, from the intersection of U.S. 81/287 and U.S. 380 take FM 730 north seven miles, then take local road west 1.9 miles. Camp area, Black Creek Lake Park, is two acres, on Black Creek Lake, limit 14 days, pit toilets, no drinking water, fishing, boat ramp, no swimming or shooting. Groups larger than twenty-five require a permit.
