To get there from San Antonio, take IH 35 north to Dallas then take U.S. 75 north to State Highway 121. Proceed northeast on State Highway 121 to U.S. 82. Take U.S. 82 east to FM 100 then take FM 100 north 10.5 miles and take local road west 3.5 miles.

There are two camping areas:

Coffee Mill Lake Park, on 700-acre Coffee Mill Lake, two acres, limit 14 days, pit toilets, drinking water, fishing, boat ramp, waterfowl hunting, no swimming.

Lake Crockett, on 450-acre Lake Crockett, one acre, limit 14 days, pit toilets, drinking water, boat ramp, fishing, waterfowl hunting, no swimming.
