This section contains information on campsites located on the many lakes and reservoirs in Texas. While most are operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, others are managed by various water authorities. Many accept reservations, some do not, most charge fees for use of facilities so call for complete information before you go. Since they are located on lakes, most of these camps offer swimming, boating and fishing. Some have boats for rent.
