COLDSPRING  Wolf Creek Park

Wolf Creek Park is located on the west shore of Lake Livingston near Coldspring, Texas. To get there from San Antonio, take IH 35 northeast to San Marcos, exit onto State Highway 21 and proceed northeast to Bryan-College Station. From Bryan-College Station take State Highway 30 east to Huntsville. From Huntsville take U.S. 190 east to Point Blank and then take State Highway south to FM 224. FREDERICKSBURG  Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park

Operated by the city of Fredericksburg, Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park is a 190 acre park situated on Live Oak Creek three miles southwest of Fredericksburg, Texas. To get there from San Antonio, take IH 10 northwest to the first Kerrville exit. Turn north on State Highway 16 and proceed toward Fredericksburg. Look for the park approximately three miles southwest of Fredericksburg. There are ten sites for tent camping. Recreational activities include swimming, fishing, and boating.
