Camp M.K. Brown
Camp M. K. Brown is situated on 480 acres of land approximately ninety miles northeast of Amarillo in the Texas panhandle. To get there from San Antonio, take IH 10 northwest through Kerrville to Junction. From Junction take U.S. 83 north to Eden and turn west onto U.S. 87 and proceed through San Angelo and Lubbock and on to Amarillo. From Amarillo take U.S. 60 northeast through Pampa. About seven miles east of Pampa turn on State Highway 152 toward Mobeetie. Six miles east of Mobeetie, turn north on FM 3182 approximately three miles to the camp.

There are 14 campsites for tent camping. There are tables, fire rings, water, toilets, and showers available. Recreational activities include hiking, boating, and fishing. Swimming is available during the summer months.
There is a caretaker on duty part time.
