Camp Leroy Shuman
Camp Leroy Shuman is located on the western edge of Fort Worth on Lake Worth just north of Carswell Air Force Base. To get there from San Antonio, take IH 35 north to Fort Worth. In Fort Worth take Loop 810 east to the Navajo Trail exit. Exit onto Navajo Trail and proceed west to Shawnee, go north to Comanche, turn right on Malaga. The camp is on the right.

There are six campsites for tent camping. Water, portable toilets, and showers are available. Recreational activities include hiking, boating, and fishing. Swimming is available during the summer months.
The camp is open all year around. There is a ranger on duty.
