Camp Green Dickson
Camp Green Dickson is located four miles west of Shiner. It is a primitive style pioneer camp of 335 acres. There are 10 campsites and there is no ranger on duty. A water well, outdoor latrine and a two-acre lake are available. There are fish in the lake.
Units should be prepared to bring all of their own equipment and to clean up before they leave, taking their trash with them. There are historical sites in and around Gonzales, Shiner, and Yoakum, all nearby.
