Camp Dale Resler
Camp Dale Resler is situated on 90 acres of land approximately 90 miles northeast of El Paso in the heart of the Lincoln National Forest in New Mexico. To get there from San Antonio, take IH 10 northwest through Kerrville, Junction, and Ft. Stockton to El Paso. From El Paso take U.S. 54 north 83 miles to Alamogordo, N.M. Take U.S. 82 east from Alamogordo to Cloudcroft (about 16 miles). Go through Cloudcroft about 1-½ miles to Sleepy Grass picnic grounds and make a right. This road will take you straight in.
There are 10 campsites for tent camping. There are tables, fire rings, water, toilets, and showers available. Tents and cots are available for rent. Hiking is available within the camp property. There is sightseeing available nearby and there is a store nearby for purchase of supplies.
The camp is open all year around. There is a ranger on duty.
